At least we were right about Jeb Bush |
Nature Boy Florida |
He stood next to Trump when Fox news tried to shame him into supporting the eventual republican nominee.
Bush raised his hand in a promise to support.
Trump didn't (but eventually was persuaded).
Looks like Bushes' promise didn't mean much...like his Dad's "Read My Lips" pledge.
Those guys are the most untrustworthy guys around.
Good riddance. _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

Now, about the older Bush, did he create any new taxes, or did he just raise the old taxes? If he were Clinton, he could have gotten away with saying something like that. "I kept my promise. I didn't add any new taxes. I just signed a bill to raise the old taxes."
Of course, there might have been some new taxes. _________________ Link |

I have always liked Huckabee, but never thought he was electable, but I do agree with him, the the two ex-presidents Bush do not support the nominee they should leave the party. I did like Jeb as our governor but he lost me in his 'campaign against Rubio', I never saw the point when he had bigger axes to grind.
Anyway I am with the Huck on his statement. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Cojak, I know you've mentioned having friends who just aren't aware the Democratic Party has left them.
Right now, I feel as if the Republican Party has left me. At least the Bushes are smart enough to know when the Party has left them.
As far as Jeb and Rubio, it was like the two guys who were trying to outrun the bear. Jeb didn't have to outrun the bear; he only had to outrun Rubio. At least that was his thinking (clear the lane for the voters who were splitting between Rubio and Bush). It just didn't work.
I think Huckabee is acting rather sanctimonious. Is there no limit to how liberal a nominee can be before conservatives say, "We're drawing the line."?
Trump is not a Republican. To me it is silly to demand that Republicans get behind a candidate who is not a Republican. |

As to the promise, yeah, I kinda feel sorry for everybody who raised their hand never imagining that Trump would be the nominee. Who could have guessed! |

This whole gestapo garbage telling me what I have to do is amusing and frightening at the same time. I don't HAVE to vote for an idiot, I don't HAVE to acknowledge a candidate elected by a majority of people who have never voted in a primary before and who likely haven't voted at all in 20 years. I have no more allegiance to a party than they have to conservatism. Those posers can just rant and rave and threaten all they want until November when they go home skulking about how the system is "rigged". I posted the comments I've been seeing like "Trump is going to investigate all of those Republicans that don't support him", wow, did they read even a chapter of their history books? |

Exactly. I just watched a very lengthy documentary on the rise of Hitler. Even without trying to hard there are a lot is similarities. |

Didn't say that...reading is fundamental.
Hitler said things that were popular with the people at the time.
He also gave the people a common enemy - the Jewish people.
I said there were similarities nothing more. Take it for what's worth. You will anyway. |

Your absolutely correct. I don't like Trump he's a sociopath, a thug and a bully. Nothing positive will happen if he's elected, except he will be a one-term president. |
