Bonnie - You may have already read this or even posted it. I ran across it tonight in a group & thought about you, so thought I would share it.

Some of the fellas might enjoy it too...

Sorry. I appreciate the thought, but, no. The Gospel Coalition is made up of people who restrict women. So this is simply trying to put a positive spin on the limitations that they believe are Biblically required of women. [Insert Acts Pun Here]

Also, the way she (and the whole lot of complementarians) define "headship" is, in my view, scripturally inaccurate.
Basically, they've taken a term that didn't translate well into English and slapped it onto the entire dynamics of gender relationships without reason.

Post and another thing... bonnie knox
This was a great comment about the article (and she quotes the article writer who said that God made men and women equally vital to his kingdom work).

'As those who believe God has designed men and women equally in his image and made us equally vital to his kingdom work.......' So then it must be 'man' that puts restrictions on how God uses women in His kingdom work.

Sorry, I get the terms mixed up. Guess I wasn't thinking too deeply last night.

If you are talking about the term "complementarian," it is no wonder people get it mixed up. I think that is by design. You would think that complementarian would mean that men and women complement one another, but it is basically a code word for male rule.
