You agreed with the following with your thumbs up & you stated "Well said."
1. Christians who support this man will have no credibility in their moralizing about anything.
So who made UncleJD the one who determines credibility & morals?
You agreed with him which is an insult to Christians who vote for Trump.

2. Biblical Marriage? They don't care about any such thing.
So who made UncleJD the one who tells me what my view of biblical marriage is? You agreed with him which is an insult to Christians who vote for Trump.

3. They'll sanctify any filth that they have to for their political agenda, and simultaneously claim that they believe God is in control of the leaders in our country. 2 Chronicles 7:14 is way too hard, let's just vote.
So who made UncleJD the one who determines what is sanctified? I would never use my ecclesiastical license to sanctify any such thing. But I do believe that God determines who are leaders are according to Daniel 2:20-22. You agreed with him which is an insult to Christians who vote for Trump.

And this is why I took issue with your endorsement of UncleJD

Look Dean , there are a lot of people that agree and disagree with JD's philosophy. But I didnt write the post. I dont think that I would have been as descriptive as JD was. But if you have a problem with the post then I suggest that you talk to JD about it.

And " well said " was not intended as an insult to anyone. Sorry if you took it that way.

No sooner had this surfaced than more than one of my "forever-Trump" Christian friends immediately began to play the "But Bill did it too" card. You remember, the exact opposite of what they said in 1998 about whether they were treating Clinton differently just because he was a Democrat.

Christians who support this man will have no credibility in their moralizing about anything. Biblical Marriage? They don't care about any such thing. As usual you paint with too broad of a brush & I for one will not be defined by your opinion of who is credible &/or moral. In fact your statement gives me just enough pause to doubt your credibility for making such a ridiculous statement. Your words remind me of those who used to come on this board years ago who were plants to try & discredit good bible believing Christians.
You owe people an apology for your words which lumped folks into a bag of deplorable with no redeeming value.
Shame on you Uncle!!!

And c6th you're right with him with your stupid thumbs up!
Both of you remind me of the liberals who when they can't have their way in a debate/discussion they begin throwing insults at others.
You both should be ashamed for treating brothers in Christ like you have with your words & I hope others will agree with me concerning you.

I think they are exactly right.

This is an absolute true statement: "Christians who support this man will have no credibility in their moralizing about anything. "

This is a fact not an insult.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion no matter how wrong you can be!
All of this devisive banter from you guys is helping to rip apart the quality of the Christian fabric because you're using the world's view & opinion to form a decision against fellow believers.
I'm sure you're quite proud of yourselves!

The fact of the matter is I did call him out on it but I also tagged you for giving him the thumbs up for his rude comments regarding Christian voters who don't agree with him & you.
Own it dude you're the one who agreed with him!
I called you out the same way because it's ridiculous for anybody in the faith to demean others in the faith & have folks like you agree with the insulting party.

I own it ,, I agreed with him. I have not demeaned anyone. If you took it as offensive I said I was sorry and didnt mean any offense to you or anyone else.
And I still agree with him.

Do you think that I am the only one that agrees with him? If so you are wrong. Your convictions should not be with those that has agreed with someone but with the one that made the statement.

c6th I appreciate your apology but we still have the issue of what he said in his post.
I pointed out sentence by sentence how wrong it was & you still stand by the one who brought insult.

How is this not insulting:
Christians have no credibility or morals? Why? Because we vote Trump?
Biblical view of marriage has no value? Why? Because we support Trump?
Sanctify our political agenda & at the same time believe God is in control of national leaders? Why? Because we support Trump?

If you were a pastor & you tell somebody in your church they have no credibility or morals if they vote for Trump, do you think they would give you a hug or show you appreciation for your words?
What if your youth pastor said it to your best givers & you agreed with what he said do you think your best givers would appreciate these words?
It's not that hard to understand how insulting these words are.

Still don't see how you agreeing with him was insulting?
What if he said this exact same thing about your spouse would you still give him a thumbs up?

I would simply say you are misguided if you can vote for a woman who has spent her career lying to people not to mention helping a man get out of jail who raped a 12 year old girl & then laughed about getting him off.
But I wouldn't place a rating on your morals or judge you for it because that is between you & God.

I see you didn't address even one of my questions & yet I responded to yours immediately.

I usually see this in liberals.

Well that would be a good response. I assume you mean this question ;

"What if he said this exact same thing about your spouse would you still give him a thumbs up? "

I would brush it off and no cigar for that. All opinions dont agree with mine. I understand this. Some express their opinions in a passionate way that may not always be the best way to express it. Like me at times. So we forgive forget and move on or it will eat us alive.

I think I asked you 7 questions but you skirted them & responded to one of them.
Not after you at this point c6th - I really don't care how you vote, it's not my biz but I just don't like it when libs cut & run & don't own up to their comments like UncleJD earlier - typical liberal thing to do, marginalize the debate & label your opponent.
But I don't fit into his insults & I felt maligned due to his opinion.
Facts are I'm voting for Trump & I'm on my way to heaven because the 2 are not depended on one another.

Post Cojak
I have a friend who will 'declare' anyone who votes Democrat is absolutely going to hell. His stand is NO ONE CAN back the democrat and be a Christian.

Folks you can say what you want to about me, I have been called many things, but in the last 20 years I have never been considered nor called 'immoral' that I know of. I still believe in the sanctity of life and marriage. I still believe Christ is King. I am still (though unworthy) a child of the King.

I have a strong belief in this country. I personally have a strong dis-belief in The Clintons and Hillary is one. I do not think she is good for the country. I do not believe in OPEN borders and OPEN trade when the USA is on the short end of the stick. I do not believe in many things that Hillary represents, She is NOT my choice.

If Trump is the closest thing to keeping Hillary out of the White House, he gets my vote. I do not like the man, but I like him more than Hillary.

I will be voting for someone who knows more than Hillary about finances. I am very aware that Trump has been associated with bankruptcy, just like some of my kin, friends and two COG preachers I know.

Someone did not get paid because of that, I DO NOT agree with bankruptcy (MO), but it is a law. Trump has made a payroll and balanced a budget. I liked (not) the big article on Trumps taxes, after thousands of words, the implications were 'He is a Crook' but he broke no laws.

WE NEED someone in charge who knows you can not spend more than you earn. Hillary has lived most of her adult life off on government money and does not know the importance of a REAL BALANCED BUDGET, the same as the present CIC.

I will be voting for the best leader of the two, and IMHO Hillary ain't it.

So if I am called into account for backing immorality, I am sorry anyone feels that way. But if you feel good about it, I still love you as a brother/sister in Christ. Smile

If Trump can get the evangelical vote and pull in the sex pervert vote, he just may win the election. Which is a bigger segment of US society?
