I knew one in the 60's:
Church of the Lord Jesus Christ latter Day Saints and the Apostolic Faith
I'd sure need a stamp to write checks or make deposits! _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

One of the longest and funniest church names I've heard is, "The Church of the Living God, the Pillar and Ground of Truth, Which He Purchased With His Own Blood, Inc." |

hey QW, can you imagine the forms problem for space when it asks for...
23. Church name ________________________________ 25. Address...
Etc.
Not many folks make out a check to the full name. You just cut our all business donations. LOL _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

There is a church in South Georgia that I saw. I don't remember the name but just under the name, it read: "Holiness to the Bone." |

From what I recall, the local churches just call themselves "The Church of the Living God." (Which would obviously be a lot simpler). |

Years ago in Alma, Ga there was a church named "The Very Spirit of Christ New Jerusalem Holiness Church."
There is one is Valdosta, Ga named House of God Saints in Christ. Right under the name they have it abbreviated, H.O.G.S.I.C. I always get tickled at the abbreviation. |

This isn't going to be a winner, but here goes
Gereja Mangga Besar
Which can be translated as "The Church of the Big Mango".
Mangga Besar is also a part of town in Jakarta, though. I think my translation is other funnier than "Big Manggo Church". _________________ Link |
